Babies and Epilepsy Support Group
Meetings commence at 7pm and are constructed of parents with pre school children whom have epilepsy.
The meetings involve guest speakers, including social workers and medical staff from Princess Margaret Hospital and staff representation and data from EAWA.
There are face-to-face conversations to alleviate stress upon the parents and family structure, assist in the handling of social stigmas, learning from others who have ‘been down that path before’ and the discussion of initiatives to spread the current services onto a State wide perspective.
The participant's input is important so as to improve the services provided.
